ภัทราวดีเธียเตอร์ ศิลปะสถานเพื่อการละคร ขอเชิญท่านร่วมการแสดงชุดพิเศษต้อนรับขวบปีที่ 2 ของสตูดิโอ 9 Dining Theatre by The River กับละครชาตรีร่วมสมัยเรื่อง สังข์ทอง (ร่ายพระไตรปิฎก 7) อ้างอิงจากบทพระราชนิพนธ์ดั่งเดิมในล้นเกล้าฯ รัชกาลที่ 2 ในการประพันธ์บทพูด และคำร้อง เล่าเรื่องผ่านหุ่นละคร หน้ากาก และการใช้ภาษาของวรรณคดีประกอบการเล่าเรื่อง
นำแสดง และกำกับโดย มานพ มีจำรัส ผู้อำนวยการสวนศิลป์ บ้านดิน เจ็ดเสมียน ราชบุรี ร่วมด้วย ครูเล็ก ภัทราวดี มีชูธน รับแสดงเชิญ ร่วมกับนักแสดงของภัทราวดี เธียเตอร์ เพื่อจัดหารายได้สมทบทุน “มูลนิธิละครธรรมะ ในพระสังฆราชูปถัมภ์” โดยจะเปิดทำการแสดง ในวันศุกร์ เริ่มตั้งแต่วันศุกร์ที่ 14 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2551 เวลา 19.45 น. ณ สตูดิโอ 9 Dining Theatre By the River (ตรงข้าม ภัทราวดีเธียเตอร์) ด้วยรูปแบบของการรับประทานอาหารในบรรยากาศ ริมแม่นำเจ้าพระยาพร้อมชมการแสดง และดนตรีแบบร่วมสมัย
Present by Patravadi Theatre at Studio 9 Dining Theatre By The River, “Sang Thong – Part I” is the collaboration between legendary veteran artist Patravadi Mejudhon and Silapathorn award-wining artist Manop Meejamrat. Sang Thong tells the story that a queen one day miraculously gave birth to a conch shell – which later became the little protagonist Sang Thong. The little boy prince’s journey is one full of adventures, magical happenings and self-discoveries not unlike that of Harry Potter, yet infused with mythical colours of Thai traditions.
By combining puppetry, mask, songs, music, dance and drama, the performance of “Sang Thong” gives a new look to the Thai lakorn chaktri musical play, conjures a magical and beloved theatrical journey for all ages.
